Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate, Insurance and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.41%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which rose 6.71% or 980.00 points to trade at 15,590.00 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) added 1.76% or 87.00 points to end at 5,024.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was up 1.71% or 104.00 points to 6,174.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which lost 7.54% or 3,100.00 points to trade at 38,000.00 in late trade. Nova (TASE:NVMI) declined 3.90% or 2,990.00 points to end at 73,700.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) shed 3.09% or 167.00 points to 5,233.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 246 to 182 and 111 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.22% or 0.17 to $77.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.56% or 0.46 to hit $81.25 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 2.05% or 49.50 to trade at $2,366.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.50% to 3.67, while EUR/ILS rose 0.64% to 3.98.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 104.02.
