Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Insurance and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.37%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL), which rose 1.86% or 62 points to trade at 3389 at the close. Partner (TA:PTNR) added 1.72% or 33 points to end at 1955 and First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TA:FTIN) was up 1.46% or 94 points to 6520 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA), which lost 2.98% or 630.0 points to trade at 20480.0 in late trade. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) declined 2.77% or 62 points to end at 2179 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) shed 2.73% or 1930 points to 68770.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 259 to 138 and 7 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.31% or 0.15 to $49.01 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.15% or 0.08 to hit $54.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.92% or 12.26 to trade at $1351.26 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.76% to 3.5224, while EUR/ILS rose 0.01% to 4.2290.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.64% at 91.62.
