Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Communication and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TA:ILCO), which rose 3.38% or 2390 points to trade at 73100 at the close. Strauss Group (TA:STRS) added 3.13% or 208 points to end at 6858 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was up 2.30% or 30 points to 1333 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA), which lost 3.55% or 680.0 points to trade at 18500.0 in late trade. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) declined 1.70% or 190 points to end at 10970 and Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TA:BIG) shed 1.45% or 370 points to 25180.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 254 to 129 and 116 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $44.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.81% or 0.38 to hit $47.30 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.19 to trade at $1255.79 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.59% to 3.5240, while EUR/ILS rose 0.37% to 3.9414.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 96.87.
