Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Communication and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Avner Oil Exploration LP (TA:AVNRp), which rose 3.90% or 10.0 points to trade at 266.7 at the close. Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) added 3.87% or 53 points to end at 1422 and Frutarom (TA:FRUT) was up 2.37% or 510 points to 22070 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 3.36% or 85 points to trade at 2443 in late trade. Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) declined 1.14% or 58 points to end at 5034 and Cellcom (TA:CEL) shed 1.14% or 43 points to 3743.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 237 to 175 and 90 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.06% or 0.03 to $48.82 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $51.81 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.66% or 8.09 to trade at $1238.09 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.07% to 3.6015, while EUR/ILS rose 0.92% to 3.9918.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.73% at 98.09.
