Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Technology, Real Estate and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 added 0.68% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Nice (TA:NICE), which rose 3.11% or 770 points to trade at 25530 at the close. Elbit Systems (TA:ESLT) added 2.06% or 650 points to end at 32170 and Frutarom (TA:FRUT) was up 1.90% or 300 points to 16100 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA), which lost 1.21% or 180 points to trade at 14700 in late trade. Avner L (TA:AVNRp) declined 0.62% or 1.8 points to end at 286.6 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) shed 0.45% or 11 points to 2409.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 192 to 132 and 123 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.07% or 0.03 to $45.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.57% or 0.28 to hit $50.27 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.64% or 7.00 to trade at $1083.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.40% to 3.8177, while EUR/ILS rose 0.23% to 4.1474.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.16% at 98.20.
