Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Real Estate, Insurance and Biomed sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 added 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 1.24% or 66 points to trade at 5386 at the close. Melisron (TA:MLSR) added 0.98% or 140 points to end at 14400 and Strauss Group (TA:STRS) was up 0.87% or 50 points to 5780 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Frutarom (TA:FRUT), which lost 0.55% or 90 points to trade at 16160 in late trade. Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) declined 0.47% or 600 points to end at 126000 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) shed 0.45% or 7 points to 1537.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 187 to 88 and 173 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.31% or 0.14 to $43.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.21% or 0.10 to hit $49.13 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1094.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.22% to 3.8116, while EUR/ILS rose 0.18% to 4.1804.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 97.73.
