Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate, Insurance and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.06% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which rose 7.28% or 52.90 points to trade at 780.00 at the close. Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) added 6.28% or 1,400.00 points to end at 23,690.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was up 4.31% or 62.00 points to 1,502.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which lost 1.45% or 1,190.00 points to trade at 80,700.00 in late trade. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) declined 1.08% or 160.00 points to end at 14,650.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) shed 0.76% or 680.00 points to 89,240.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 345 to 122 and 72 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.19% or 0.16 to $83.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.15% or 0.13 to hit $87.21 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 2.55 to trade at $2,366.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.38% to 3.74, while EUR/ILS fell 0.17% to 4.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 104.83.
