Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Communication, Technology and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.00% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which rose 5.82% or 77.00 points to trade at 1,399.00 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 5.78% or 96.00 points to end at 1,758.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 5.55% or 4,770.00 points to 90,770.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which lost 0.86% or 580.00 points to trade at 66,800.00 in late trade. Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) declined 0.64% or 190.00 points to end at 29,340.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) shed 0.51% or 6.00 points to 1,182.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 301 to 168 and 69 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.35% or 1.60 to $69.70 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.16% or 1.55 to hit $73.38 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.24% or 6.49 to trade at $2,664.99 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.45% to 3.63, while EUR/ILS fell 0.28% to 3.81.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 106.22.
