Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Communication sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.88%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 5.40% or 83 points to trade at 1620 at the close. Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) added 2.73% or 950 points to end at 35770 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) was up 2.12% or 188 points to 9051 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT), which lost 1.59% or 550 points to trade at 34100 in late trade. Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) declined 1.56% or 41 points to end at 2584 and Partner (TA:PTNR) shed 1.52% or 22 points to 1428.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 251 to 144 and 29 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.18% or 0.84 to $70.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.62% or 0.48 to hit $76.99 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 4.10 to trade at $1318.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.28% to 3.5757, while EUR/ILS rose 0.50% to 4.2698.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 92.44.
