Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Communication, Technology and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.78%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which rose 6.64% or 361 points to trade at 5796 at the close. Liveperson (TA:LPSN) added 6.23% or 500 points to end at 8527 and Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) was up 3.26% or 1250 points to 39650 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 2.61% or 34 points to trade at 1270 in late trade. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) declined 0.62% or 46 points to end at 7404 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) shed 0.38% or 4 points to 1041.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 228 to 124 and 37 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.23% or 0.15 to $66.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.04% or 0.03 to hit $75.94 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.55% or 6.70 to trade at $1215.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.37% to 3.7247, while EUR/ILS rose 0.17% to 4.2166.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 96.88.
