Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Biomed, Communication and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.72%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Mylan NV (TA:MYL), which rose 4.17% or 450 points to trade at 11250 at the close. Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) added 4.10% or 2710 points to end at 68760 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) was up 4.01% or 224 points to 5808 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Paz Oil (TA:PZOL), which lost 1.50% or 870 points to trade at 57020 in late trade. Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TA:BIG) declined 1.33% or 340 points to end at 25260 and Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT) shed 1.22% or 340 points to 27520.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 255 to 150 and 9 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.63% or 1.21 to $47.17 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.92% or 1.48 to hit $52.21 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 8.11 to trade at $1322.21 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.13% to 3.5877, while EUR/ILS fell 0.12% to 4.2637.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 92.82.
