Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Banking and Biomed sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.68%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which rose 4.65% or 463 points to trade at 10420 at the close. Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) added 2.80% or 590.0 points to end at 21640.0 and Harel (TA:HARL) was up 2.07% or 44 points to 2172 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which lost 2.10% or 11.0 points to trade at 513.0 in late trade. Gazit Globe Ltd (TA:GZT) declined 0.80% or 28 points to end at 3478 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) shed 0.78% or 50 points to 6400.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 234 to 175 and 4 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.82% or 0.38 to $46.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.64% or 0.33 to hit $51.33 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 5.59 to trade at $1313.31 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.46% to 3.5891, while EUR/ILS fell 0.04% to 4.2759.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.48% at 92.71.
