Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Communication, Technology and Biomed sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.48% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA), which rose 3.90% or 880.0 points to trade at 23470.0 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) added 2.57% or 12.3 points to end at 491.8 and Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) was up 2.37% or 78 points to 3367 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Israel Corp (TA:ILCO), which lost 1.70% or 1200 points to trade at 69250 in late trade. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) declined 1.08% or 17 points to end at 1551 and Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) shed 1.02% or 0.5 points to 48.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 264 to 128 and 16 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.14% or 0.07 to $51.63 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.75% or 0.43 to hit $56.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.41% or 5.23 to trade at $1283.47 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.30% to 3.5334, while EUR/ILS fell 0.06% to 4.1744.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 92.91.
