Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.46%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 8.39% or 77 points to trade at 996 at the close. Gazit Globe Ltd (TA:GZT) added 4.73% or 134 points to end at 2965 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) was up 2.11% or 6.7 points to 324.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Liveperson (TA:LPSN), which lost 1.07% or 110 points to trade at 10180 in late trade. Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) declined 0.98% or 1000 points to end at 100900 and Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) shed 0.92% or 48 points to 5149.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 263 to 111 and 37 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.53% or 1.45 to $55.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.14% or 1.42 to hit $64.89 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.65% or 21.65 to trade at $1294.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.07% to 3.6322, while EUR/ILS rose 0.09% to 4.1322.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 96.382.
