Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Insurance and Communication sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.28%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TA:LPSN), which rose 5.01% or 473 points to trade at 9919 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) added 3.01% or 155 points to end at 5307 and Harel (TA:HARL) was up 2.30% or 59 points to 2623 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which lost 1.64% or 104 points to trade at 6238 in late trade. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) declined 0.96% or 65 points to end at 6695 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) shed 0.59% or 600 points to 101000.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 234 to 136 and 44 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.23% or 0.13 to $57.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $67.25 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.85 to trade at $1330.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.04% to 3.6111, while EUR/ILS fell 0.10% to 4.0962.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 96.405.
