Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which rose 5.59% or 348 points to trade at 6572 at the close. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) added 2.23% or 660 points to end at 30260 and Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TA:BIG) was up 1.83% or 460 points to 25590 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which lost 2.77% or 30 points to trade at 1053 in late trade. Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) declined 2.69% or 125 points to end at 4520 and Partner (TA:PTNR) shed 1.82% or 35 points to 1891.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 217 to 191 and 15 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.71% or 1.40 to $50.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.97% or 1.12 to hit $55.67 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.66% or 8.53 to trade at $1276.27 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.03% to 3.5343, while EUR/ILS fell 0.66% to 4.1467.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.61% at 93.48.
