Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Communication, Biomed and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TA:ILCO), which rose 3.09% or 2080 points to trade at 69430 at the close. Partner (TA:PTNR) added 2.52% or 46 points to end at 1875 and Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) was up 2.27% or 73 points to 3283 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which lost 2.45% or 142 points to trade at 5650 in late trade. Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) declined 1.62% or 2.8 points to end at 169.8 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG) shed 1.25% or 250 points to 19740.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 225 to 158 and 20 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.36% or 1.59 to $48.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.18% or 1.14 to hit $53.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 10.84 to trade at $1341.24 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.24% to 3.5646, while EUR/ILS fell 0.04% to 4.2488.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 92.26.
