Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Biomed sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.07% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which rose 2.53% or 2,540.00 points to trade at 102,950.00 at the close. Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) added 2.49% or 800.00 points to end at 32,950.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was up 2.43% or 13.40 points to 564.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG), which lost 6.94% or 455.00 points to trade at 6,100.00 in late trade. Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) declined 2.18% or 4,560.00 points to end at 205,000.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) shed 1.59% or 34.00 points to 2,107.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 279 to 201 and 56 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.95% or 0.70 to $74.26 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.94% or 0.72 to hit $77.02 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.56% or 14.81 to trade at $2,662.21 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.50% to 3.65, while EUR/ILS rose 0.30% to 3.78.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 108.29.
