Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Biomed, Communication and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which rose 2.26% or 1470 points to trade at 66600 at the close. Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) added 2.07% or 23 points to end at 1136 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was up 1.85% or 40 points to 2208 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which lost 3.06% or 179 points to trade at 5671 in late trade. Poalim (TA:POLI) declined 1.55% or 38 points to end at 2421 and Leumi (TA:LUMI) shed 1.40% or 26 points to 1827.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 199 to 197 and 8 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.38% or 1.14 to $46.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.06% or 0.55 to hit $51.43 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.91% or 11.77 to trade at $1309.67 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.08% to 3.5805, while EUR/ILS rose 0.11% to 4.2793.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 92.29.
