Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which rose 5.85% or 351 points to trade at 6350 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) added 2.25% or 31 points to end at 1409 and First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TA:FTIN) was up 1.09% or 92 points to 8510 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which lost 3.68% or 16.0 points to trade at 418.5 in late trade. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) declined 1.48% or 33 points to end at 2197 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) shed 0.90% or 1000 points to 110600.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 186 to 181 and 42 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 3.36% or 1.71 to $52.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 3.20% or 1.90 to hit $61.36 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.00% or 12.30 to trade at $1238.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.19% to 3.7233, while EUR/ILS rose 0.45% to 4.2242.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 96.903.
