With U.S. stock futures trading mostly higher this morning on Friday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:
- Wall Street expects Hibbett, Inc. (NASDAQ: HIBB) to post quarterly earnings at 73 cents per share on revenue of $376.11 million before the opening bell. Hibbett shares fell 1% to $36.49 in after-hours trading.
- Intuit Inc. (NASDAQ: INTU) reported better-than-expected earnings and sales results for its second quarter. The company said it sees full-year 2024 revenue in a range between $15.89 billion and $16.105 billion and earnings between $16.17 and $16.47 per share. Intuit shares fell 1.9% to $489.00 in the after-hours trading session.
- Analysts expect Akebia Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKBA) to report a quarterly loss at 2 cents per share on revenue of $59.10 million before the opening bell. The company said Akebia Therapeutics it expects to resubmit Vadadustat NDA in the third quarter. Akebia Therapeutics shares gained 4.8% to $1.3104 in after-hours trading.
- Marvell Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: MRVL) posted upbeat earnings for its second quarter. The company issued third-quarter 2024 revenue guidance of $1.4 billion plus or minus 5%, versus the $1.39 billion estimate. Marvell Technology shares fell 5.2% to $54.30 in the after-hours trading session.
- The Gap, Inc. (NYSE: GPS) reported upbeat earnings for the second quarter, while sales missed estimates. The company also said it sees a steeper-than-expected fall in sales for the current quarter. Gap shares gained 1.5% to $9.67 in the after-hours trading session.
