Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Infrastructure and Miscellaneous Industry sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Mnc Sky Vision Tbk (JK:MSKY), which rose 25.00% or 200 points to trade at 1000 at the close. Ratu Prabu Energi Tbk (JK:ARTI) added 14.55% or 8 points to end at 63 and Pacific Strategic Financial (JK:APIC) was up 14.42% or 30 points to 238 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Baramulti Suksessarana Tbk (JK:BSSR), which lost 9.96% or 140 points to trade at 1265 in late trade. Fortune Mate Indonesia Tbk (JK:FMII) declined 9.90% or 51 points to end at 464 and Ancora Indonesia Resources Tbk (JK:OKAS) shed 9.84% or 6 points to 55.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 165 to 142 and 97 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.45% or 0.22 to $49.40 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.72% or 0.36 to hit $50.34 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.31% or 3.95 to trade at $1270.55 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.05% to 13036.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.52% to 9911.65.
The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 98.59.
