The biggest gainers of the session on the Athens General Composite were J. & P. Avax (AT:AVAr), which rose 11.75% or 0.053 points to trade at 0.504 at the close. Centric Hold (AT:DESr) added 8.00% or 0.010 points to end at 0.135 and Profile Syst (AT:PRFr) was up 6.73% or 0.046 points to 0.730 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Marfin Invest (AT:MRFr), which lost 11.66% or 0.019 points to trade at 0.144 in late trade. Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr) declined 3.83% or 0.0090 points to end at 0.2250 and Coca Cola HBC AG (AT:EEEr) shed 3.81% or 1.0300 points to 25.9700.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 61 to 51 and 9 ended unchanged on the Athens Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for August delivery was down 0.35% or 4.40 to $1244.70 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 1.50% or 0.67 to hit $45.41 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract rose 1.45% or 0.69 to trade at $48.23 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.41% to 1.1425, while EUR/GBP fell 0.01% to 0.8800.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 95.46.
