Investing.com – Greece equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Retail, Household and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite fell 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Revoil Petrol (AT:REVr), which rose 10.00% or 0.056 points to trade at 0.616 at the close. Select Textile (AT:EPIr) added 7.14% or 0.011 points to end at 0.165 and Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr) was up 4.62% or 0.0900 points to 2.0400 in late trade.
Biggest losers included MLS Multimedia (AT:MLSr), which lost 1.82% or 0.080 points to trade at 4.320 in late trade. Athens Water (AT:EYDr) declined 1.49% or 0.09 points to end at 5.94 and Folli Follie (AT:HDFr) shed 1.31% or 0.23 points to 17.27.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 49 to 47 and 15 ended unchanged on the Athens Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.75% or 9.54 to $1268.56 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.28% or 0.15 to hit $54.69 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 0.48% or 0.29 to trade at $60.91 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.40% to 1.1611, while EUR/GBP fell 0.48% to 0.8884.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 94.85.
