Investing.com - The unemployment rate in the euro zone remained unchanged unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Wednesday.

In a report, Eurostat said that the rate of unemployment remained unchanged at a seasonally adjusted 11.0%, from 11.0% in the preceding month whose figure was revised up from 10.9%.

Analysts had expected the unemployment rate to remain unchanged at 10.9% last month.
