Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Transport and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312), which rose 9.61% or 2.20 points to trade at 25.10 at the close. Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) added 9.61% or 5.96 points to end at 68.00 and SABB Takaful (SE:8080) was up 6.84% or 2.81 points to 43.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which lost 3.99% or 0.38 points to trade at 9.15 in late trade. AL JOUF CEMENT COMPANY (SE:3091) declined 1.81% or 0.27 points to end at 14.65 and Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) shed 1.77% or 4.54 points to 252.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 95 to 71 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.01% or 0.46 to $46.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.27% or 0.64 to hit $50.62 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.26% or 2.80 to trade at $1087.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.08% to 4.0863, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7521.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.11% at 97.93.
