Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 3.83% or 9.1 points to trade at 247.0 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 2.66% or 3.2 points to end at 123.5 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 2.57% or 0.84 points to 33.49 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 0.39% or 3.5 points to trade at 903.5 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 0.24% or 0.6 points to end at 249.2 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) gained 0.11% or 0.2 points to 175.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 119 to 29 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.25% or 0.12 to $48.21 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.26% or 0.13 to hit $49.58 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 1.35% or 17.85 to trade at $1338.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.26% to 6.6794, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4409.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.25% at 95.71.
