At the market open in London, the FTSE 100 Index rose 0.03%. The FTSE 250 Index and the FTSE 350 Index were also higher. The FTSE 250 climbed 0.19%, while the FTSE 350 increased slightly by 0.17%.

- AstraZeneca (NASDAQ:AZN): Fell 0.85% or 104.0 points to 12,194.3
- Flutter (LON:FLTRF) Entertainment: Declined 1.41% or 225.0 points to 15,765.0
In Commodities Trading:
- Gold Futures for June delivery declined 8.75 points to 2,343.75 a troy ounce.
- Crude Oil for July delivery climbed 0.15 points to 78.70 a barrel.
- July Brent Oil Contract fell 0.03 points to 82.85 a barrel.
Currency Markets:
- GBP/USD remained unchanged at 1.27.
- EUR/GBP is also stable at 0.85.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 104.40.
