At the market open in London, the FTSE 100 Index dropped 0.53%. The FTSE 250 Index and the FTSE 350 Index also declined. The FTSE 250 fell 0.67%, while the FTSE 350 was down by 0.52%.

- Mondi (LON:MNDI): Fell 3.63% or 56.00 points to 1,485.50
- Scottish Mortgage (LON:SMT): Declined 3.50% or 821.80 points to 821.80
- Intermediate Capital (LON:ICGIN): Dropped 2.72% or 58.00 points to 2,074.00
