Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) announced today that the company will reopen orders for the Mustang Mach-E electric sedan on Tuesday with an increased price between $3,000 and $8,100, depending on the desired trim. The American auto maker also increased shipping costs by $200 on all models.

The new pricing will be reflected on orders starting Tuesday, August 30. Moreover, if you have an existing, unscheduled 2022 model, Ford will give a private offer to upgrade to a 2023 model.

According to the announcement, starting this fall, premium Mach-e models will be built on Ford’s extended range battery, with 290 EPA-estimated range on AWD models. The premium extended range models and the GT performance edition will also be available with the new Mustang Nite Pony Package. The Nite Pony Package features high-gloss black 19-inch wheels, a black pony, black interior features, door trim, and mirror caps on the trim.

Two new colors were added for the Mustang EV including carbonized gray metallic and vapor blue metallic. These will replace dark matter gray and iced blue silver.

The announcement added that “Ford Co-Pilot360™ Driver Assist Technology is now standard across Mustang Mach-E across the lineup.”

“Adding Ford Co-Pilot360 Driver Assist Technology to the entire Mustang Mach-E line up gives more customers access to services like BlueCruise hands-free driving and future ADAS services through Ford Power-Up software updates,” Marin Gjaja, chief customer officer, Model e, said. “We’re sharing these changes ahead of re-opening order banks on Tuesday so customers can understand the feature and pricing adjustments around ordering a Mustang Mach-E.”

The Mustang Mach-e has been a hit since hitting dealerships in December 2020. The EV remains in high demand as sales rose 74.1% in July. Overall, Ford’s EV sales soared 168.7% in July, outpacing the broad EV market.
