Sharecast - The AIM-traded firm said the initiative aimed to enhance the safety of low-income families living in the region.
It said that over the next six months, starting this month, Fireangel (LON:FA) would deliver more than 60,000 ‘Connected’ smoke and heat alarms.
The devices would be installed across more than 5,000 properties, offering increased protection and early warning systems to vulnerable communities.
“We are delighted with this latest contract, which is further testament to the continuing demand for our Connected products, both in the UK and overseas,” said chief finance officer Zoe Fox.
“Our Connected technology is designed to provide the highest level of protection at all times and we are well positioned to meet the growing demand for fire safety technology.”
At 1015 BST, shares in FireAngel Safety Technology Group were up 9.09% at 7.5p.
