Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Financials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.47%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 9.89% or 3.03 points to trade at 33.67 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) added 2.80% or 0.1400 points to end at 5.1400 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was up 0.93% or 0.24 points to 25.91 in late trade.
Biggest losers included YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V), which lost 10.72% or 0.74 points to trade at 6.17 in late trade. Valmt (HE:VALMT) declined 5.00% or 0.61 points to end at 11.60 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) shed 1.99% or 0.105 points to 5.160.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 105 to 72 and 15 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for October delivery was down 1.55% or 0.68 to $43.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 1.93% or 0.81 to hit $41.11 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.49% or 6.55 to trade at $1341.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.22% to 1.1084, while EUR/GBP rose 0.81% to 0.8431.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.17% at 96.59.
