Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 1.28%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 0.57% or 0.0380 points to trade at 6.6980 at the close. Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) added 0.40% or 0.10 points to end at 24.91 and Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) was up 0.08% or 0.01 points to 18.07 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which lost 3.12% or 0.256 points to trade at 7.944 in late trade. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) declined 2.33% or 0.88 points to end at 36.89 and Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) shed 2.06% or 1.24 points to 59.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 110 to 33 and 12 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for May delivery was down 1.47% or 0.95 to $63.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 1.18% or 0.73 to hit $60.91 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.51% or 6.70 to trade at $1311.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.14% to 1.2210, while EUR/GBP rose 0.33% to 0.8890.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 90.62.
