Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.68%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM), which rose 1.38% or 1.15 points to trade at 84.65 at the close. Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) added 1.35% or 0.17 points to end at 12.75 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) was up 0.85% or 0.28 points to 33.33 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Valmet Oyj (HE:VALMT), which lost 2.83% or 0.78 points to trade at 26.77 in late trade. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 2.74% or 2.15 points to end at 76.35 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) shed 2.60% or 0.27 points to 10.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 101 to 62 and 27 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for September delivery was down 0.61% or 0.52 to $84.63 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 0.55% or 0.45 to hit $81.18 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 7.35 to trade at $2,337.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.27% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.18% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 105.35.
