Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.45%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 5.02% or 0.63 points to trade at 13.08 at the close. Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) added 0.82% or 0.12 points to end at 14.14 and Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA) was up 0.73% or 0.03 points to 4.53 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which lost 3.07% or 0.29 points to trade at 9.17 in late trade. Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) declined 2.17% or 0.20 points to end at 8.93 and Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) shed 2.07% or 1.45 points to 68.75.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 90 to 80 and 19 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for March delivery was up 0.76% or 0.58 to $76.51 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in February rose 1.22% or 0.89 to hit $74.02 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.58% or 15.39 to trade at $2,653.61 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.27% to 1.03, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.04% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 108.87.
