Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.34% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA), which rose 1.83% or 0.08 points to trade at 4.28 at the close. Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) added 1.05% or 0.17 points to end at 16.40 and Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO) was up 0.79% or 0.08 points to 9.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which lost 2.06% or 0.39 points to trade at 18.56 in late trade. Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) declined 1.54% or 0.60 points to end at 38.34 and Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO) shed 1.11% or 0.45 points to 39.95.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 109 to 59 and 21 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for August delivery was up 2.24% or 1.78 to $81.40 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 2.50% or 1.89 to hit $77.42 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.50 to trade at $2,324.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.45% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.24% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 104.80.
