Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V), which rose 0.57% or 0.19 points to trade at 33.24 at the close. Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V) added 0.42% or 0.11 points to end at 26.61 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was up 0.37% or 0.020 points to 5.395 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which lost 1.87% or 0.105 points to trade at 5.520 in late trade. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) declined 1.03% or 0.38 points to end at 36.40 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) shed 0.87% or 0.36 points to 41.23.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 80 to 54 and 21 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for October delivery was down 0.28% or 0.14 to $50.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.29% or 0.14 to hit $47.45 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.87% or 11.25 to trade at $1279.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.37% to 1.1736, while EUR/GBP rose 0.40% to 0.9123.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 93.72.
