Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Utilities and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 2.15% or 0.46 points to trade at 21.82 at the close. Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) added 2.07% or 0.89 points to end at 43.91 and Valmt (HE:VALMT) was up 1.34% or 0.21 points to 15.89 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which lost 1.90% or 0.1400 points to trade at 7.2450 in late trade. Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) declined 1.43% or 0.44 points to end at 30.38 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) shed 1.37% or 0.75 points to 53.85.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 76 to 67 and 11 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for February delivery was up 1.02% or 0.64 to $63.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 0.68% or 0.39 to hit $57.86 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.88% or 11.30 to trade at $1266.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.44% to 1.1814, while EUR/GBP fell 0.19% to 0.8785.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 93.36.
