Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 1.22% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which rose 6.43% or 0.355 points to trade at 5.875 at the close. YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) added 2.52% or 0.19 points to end at 7.71 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) was up 2.40% or 0.83 points to 35.47 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which lost 1.09% or 0.0800 points to trade at 7.2450 in late trade. Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) declined 1.01% or 0.21 points to end at 20.63 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) shed 0.27% or 0.10 points to 37.46.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 89 to 47 and 19 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for July delivery was up 0.06% or 0.03 to $53.90 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 0.14% or 0.07 to hit $51.20 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.52% or 6.52 to trade at $1254.88 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.43% to 1.1189, while EUR/GBP fell 0.22% to 0.8624.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 97.20.
