Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms, Utilities and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which rose 1.48% or 0.68 points to trade at 46.68 at the close. Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V) added 1.43% or 0.37 points to end at 26.32 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) was up 1.25% or 0.39 points to 31.63 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which lost 0.57% or 0.20 points to trade at 34.63 in late trade. Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV) declined 0.32% or 0.14 points to end at 43.85 and KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) shed 0.24% or 0.10 points to 41.52.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 95 to 34 and 23 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for April delivery was up 0.45% or 0.25 to $56.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in April rose 0.28% or 0.15 to hit $53.93 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.25 to trade at $1238.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.04% to 1.0619, while EUR/GBP fell 0.44% to 0.8521.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 100.85.
