Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Telecoms and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 2.36% or 0.54 points to trade at 23.44 at the close. Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V) added 1.14% or 0.29 points to end at 25.79 and Valmt (HE:VALMT) was up 0.67% or 0.10 points to 15.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V), which lost 1.85% or 0.12 points to trade at 6.64 in late trade. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 1.45% or 0.1450 points to end at 9.8500 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) shed 1.01% or 0.37 points to 36.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 67 to 65 and 20 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for April delivery was up 0.70% or 0.39 to $55.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in March rose 0.49% or 0.26 to hit $53.19 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.25 to trade at $1225.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.28% to 1.0569, while EUR/GBP rose 0.33% to 0.8488.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 101.33.
