Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Telecoms, Consumer Services and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.89%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which rose 3.32% or 1.50 points to trade at 46.70 at the close. Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) added 3.26% or 0.12 points to end at 3.66 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) was up 2.07% or 1.30 points to 64.25 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which lost 2.32% or 0.44 points to trade at 18.30 in late trade. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 0.87% or 0.03 points to end at 3.31 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) shed 0.60% or 0.07 points to 11.53.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 99 to 61 and 28 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for October delivery was down 1.37% or 1.08 to $77.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 1.57% or 1.19 to hit $74.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 5.05 to trade at $2,430.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.09% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.15% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 104.39.
