Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Healthcare and Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which rose 4.42% or 1.82 points to trade at 43.00 at the close. Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) added 3.53% or 0.230 points to end at 6.748 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was up 3.36% or 0.56 points to 17.36 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA), which lost 4.02% or 1.51 points to trade at 36.09 in late trade. Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) declined 1.64% or 1.10 points to end at 65.94 and YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) shed 1.38% or 0.07 points to 5.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 70 to 70 and 16 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for September delivery was down 4.46% or 3.36 to $71.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 4.09% or 2.86 to hit $67.09 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 2.30 to trade at $1238.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.13% to 1.1701, while EUR/GBP rose 0.24% to 0.8850.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 94.34.
