Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.37%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 2.60% or 1.30 points to trade at 51.30 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) added 1.72% or 0.82 points to end at 48.45 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was up 1.32% or 0.42 points to 32.35 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1), which lost 2.18% or 0.082 points to trade at 3.680 in late trade. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 1.54% or 0.1150 points to end at 7.3550 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) shed 0.75% or 0.16 points to 21.23.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 79 to 58 and 20 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for February delivery was down 0.25% or 0.16 to $63.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 0.24% or 0.14 to hit $57.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.00 to trade at $1295.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.13% to 1.1883, while EUR/GBP rose 0.52% to 0.8978.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 93.04.
