Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which rose 3.29% or 1.37 points to trade at 42.98 at the close. Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA) added 2.76% or 0.54 points to end at 20.10 and Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) was up 2.40% or 0.42 points to 17.95 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which lost 1.72% or 0.74 points to trade at 42.26 in late trade. Valmet Oyj (HE:VALMT) declined 0.99% or 0.24 points to end at 23.91 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) shed 0.99% or 0.10 points to 10.05.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 125 to 49 and 15 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for October delivery was up 0.80% or 0.61 to $76.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 0.95% or 0.69 to hit $73.63 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.63% or 15.30 to trade at $2,429.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.24% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.42% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 102.81.
