Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which rose 2.64% or 2.00 points to trade at 77.65 at the close. Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) added 2.28% or 1.20 points to end at 53.90 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was up 0.90% or 0.03 points to 3.42 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which lost 1.97% or 0.35 points to trade at 17.44 in late trade. Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO) declined 1.28% or 0.12 points to end at 9.23 and Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO) shed 1.25% or 0.49 points to 38.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 93 to 81 and 13 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for August delivery was up 1.08% or 0.89 to $83.51 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 1.17% or 0.91 to hit $78.96 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.84% or 19.75 to trade at $2,329.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.21% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.15% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 105.09.
