Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.83% to hit a new 6-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which fell 0.38% or 1.00 points to trade at 265.40 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) fell 0.50% or 1.2 points to end at 241.2 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was down 0.55% or 0.7 points to 125.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 5.84% or 51.5 points to trade at 830.5 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 4.83% or 54.0 points to end at 1064.0 and DSV (CO:DSV) shed 3.17% or 10.4 points to 318.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 118 to 33 and 12 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.81% or 0.38 to $46.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.07% or 0.52 to hit $48.09 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.21% or 15.35 to trade at $1288.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.66% to 6.7294, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4393.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.56% at 97.77.
