Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.79%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (COP:GEN), which rose 2.28% or 13.5 points to trade at 606.5 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) added 1.31% or 4.4 points to end at 339.5 and William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) was up 0.98% or 5.5 points to 568.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA), which lost 4.20% or 3.70 points to trade at 84.45 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) declined 2.95% or 9.8 points to end at 322.1 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) shed 2.88% or 380 points to 12800.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 117 to 38 and 4 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.89% or 1.12 to $58.01 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.19% or 0.76 to hit $62.55 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.31% or 3.60 to trade at $1171.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.08% to 6.6404, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4585.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.73% at 95.67.
