Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 1.30% or 0.49 points to trade at 38.15 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 0.55% or 1.4 points to end at 257.4 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 0.28% or 3.0 points to 1058.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which lost 3.02% or 300 points to trade at 9640 in late trade. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 2.98% or 9.7 points to end at 315.6 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 2.71% or 280 points to 10060.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 79 to 65 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.05% or 0.02 to $44.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.55% or 0.74 to hit $46.89 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.59% or 21.05 to trade at $1347.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.83% to 6.6194, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4417.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.88% at 94.90.
