Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.93%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 1.84% or 23.0 points to trade at 1273.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 1.26% or 11.0 points to end at 884.5 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 0.41% or 1.0 points to 247.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which lost 2.16% or 10.3 points to trade at 466.0 in late trade. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 2.01% or 5.0 points to end at 243.8 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) shed 1.26% or 1.9 points to 148.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 69 to 51 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.86% or 0.46 to $52.76 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.47% or 0.26 to hit $55.23 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.90% or 10.85 to trade at $1215.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.20% to 6.9341, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4363.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.43% at 100.34.
